An opportunity has arisen in the Engineering organization for a Software QA Enginer in the Shared Components team. We are seeking a dynamic, self-starting individual educated to degree level in a Computer Science/Engineering or other related field or equivalent work experience in Software QA\QC environment. The successful applicant will work as part of a highly motivated team striving to meet all quality, cost and schedule targets across a range of devices which are part of Shared Components across NCRs LOB. Responsibilities Main responsibilities shall include, but will not be restricted to: • Develop test cases for shared components handled by the team and maintan them • Document and streamline software QA practices to control the quality of NCR ATM/Kiosk devices • Design, develop and document test procedures and software to validate functionality • The person should have the abilities to convert the existing tests into automated test cases whereever possible and required Education and Background Knowledge and experience/skills in the following areas preferred: • Degree qualified • Software Quality Control and methodologies • Test case documentation and maintenance • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously Optional Knowledge and experience/skills • C/C++ • Windows programming • Software configuration management
